The 2017-2018 Competition is Now Open!
The Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers teaching, research, or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2017-2018 academic year. Higher education faculty and administrators as well as professionals, independent scholars, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, and accomplished scholars from other professions are encouraged to apply.
In order to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright continues to offer Flex Awards, which allow grantees to complete a grant in two or three shorter segments. Fulbright also offers opportunities for multi-country grants through enhanced global and regional awards, including the Fulbright Global Scholar Award.
