Attention: The Center for Global Inquiry and Innovation is calling for proposals for the spring 2026 grant cycle! Decisions on proposals will be communicated on an ad hoc basis from mid-March through mid-April.

Deadlines for spring 2026 grant proposals are as follows: 

  • February 20, 2026: Global Graduate Research (GGR)
  • February 27, 2026: Center Grants (CG)
  • March 23, 2026: Global Programs of Distinction (GPOD)
  • Rolling: Faculty Global Research with Undergraduates (FGRU)
  • Rolling: Global Initiative Grants (GIG)
  • Rolling: Stopgap/Bridge Funds for Humanitarian Projects Interrupted by Government Cuts
    • CGII will be offering stopgap/bridge funds for projects on humanitarian crises, migration, refugees, asylum-seekers, and related topics that have been interrupted by the government’s withholding of previously awarded funds or contracts. Amounts up to $10,000 will be considered. The source will be the Ruth-Young-Forbes Fund for the study of humanitarianism in global context.
