Overview
Graduate students from (1) any school, (2) in good standing, (3) engaged in global inquiry may apply for funds to defray expenses for travel, tools, or anything else that can advance research agendas. This fund will support work that is global or transnational in nature, as well as interdisciplinary research. across disciplines.
How to Apply
- Deadline (fall): October 7, 2024, no later than 4 pm EST
- Grant size: up to $1,500 per student
- Total funding available for this cycle: up to $18,000
Please submit a two-page proposal with the following in this order:
- Your name.
- School/unit and departmental affiliations.
- Status of your progress through your program.
- Name of adviser.
- Title of the project.
- Narrative of the project and proposed use of funds with itemized budget. Please remember that members of the selectioni committee may not be specialists in your field.
- Timeline of the activity proposed.
- If applicable, a statement of IRB status. Researchers are responsible for ensuring IRB compliance and should be in touch with the IRB if in doubt.
- Statement that PIs are familiar with all relevant university policies and procedures central to carrying out the research agenda, including contracts with third-parties if they should be necessary.
- Please state if you have applied within the last two semesters.
