Faculty Global Research with Undergraduates

This research will evaluate how the Maré studio and its community engagement component promote formative elements considered to be key on student development.

This project seeks to develop and pilot a construction application for non-linear wood through the development of a computational construction workflow in which logs are robotically scanned and manufactured into interlocking, structural blocks.

Gender and poverty in Senegal have not been thoroughly studied.

The students will form an essential part of KASP’s pedestrian field team during the first campaign, along with students from other universities, the co-directors and specialist scholars (see below ‘global mission’).

Students contributed to each stage of the research process, including conducting interviews and surveys in the West Bank with their faculty mentors during J-Term 2015.
