“Visuality of (Un)seen and (Un)told Stories” Investigates the regional cinema in Argentina and its role as a tool for peripheral voices and spaces to be heard and seen focusing their narrative in marginalized characters and the spaces where these imperceptible voices live. The films examined reveal the local realities, although universal, they uphold unique properties created by the historical and geopolitical circumstances under which they developed. I analyze the regional cinema as an audiovisual text that denounces and reveals human realities forgotten or ignored.
