Bolivia

The purpose of this project is to develop the STAR Global Autism Initiative as a new branch of UVa’s Supporting Transformative Autism Research (STAR).

This project will promote an understanding of the international interdependence of horticulture and will disseminate the ways in which vernacular landscapes provide a form of resilience. 

In Bolivia, autism diagnoses are most often delayed or missed due to the scare number of healthcare professionals with autism training or expertise.
