The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program will enhance Dr. Natasha S. Ribeiro's capacities to conduct/coordinate research and expand partnerships in the USA, notably at the University of Virginia. Following her work with us, Natasha will use the experience to improve teaching and research methods in Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo Mozambique. In particular, her work here to allow the 400-scientists Miombo Network, which she leads, bridge the gap between science and policy making in the southern Africa. This will provide myriad future contacts for exchanges and work in Southern Africa and UVA students and faculty.
