NAU HALL AUDITORIUM
A conference on “Recomposing the Humanities with Bruno Latour ” will take place in Nau Hall Auditorium on September 18 2015. Apart from Bruno Latour, the speakers are all highly distinguished scholars: Dipesh Chakrabarty, Stephen Muecke, Mike Witmore, Nigel Thrift, and Barbara Herrstein Smith. Based in history, anthropology, literary studies, and geography, these scholars are all actively engaged in interdisciplinary conversations. They include a leading digital humanist (Witmore) and the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Warwick (Thrift), who will help us combine intellectual speculation with practical application. Essays from the conference will be published in a special issue of New Literary History, a leading journal of theory and interpretation.
