Stella Mattioli (Spanish, Italian & Portuguese)
This project will try to fix the lack of diverse material that often we find while teaching a language. The Italian society is very complex, and it is continually changing thanks to a series of factors (immigration, laws for the LGBTQ families, and more). I am planning to research these changes and create new material and activities that will show to the students the reality of the Italian society beyond stereotypes. The project will also culminate in an academic article and in a presentation.
